This recognition reflects the strength of our community, the dedication of our team, and the growing need for trusted immigration support across Fayette County, Kentucky. We are deeply grateful to everyone who voted for and supported our work.

The Herald-Leader spoke with Executive Director Mizari Suárez about how the grant is already at work. Neighbors is using the funds to waive the $50 initial consultation fee for Fayette County clients all year. For Suárez, the cause is personal: an affordable consultation once helped her own mother gain legal status, a turning point she says "really put my family out of poverty."
